Do you remember your very first photo session? I do! I remember something from every session I have ever done. I get to relive those moments over and over when I plug in my external drive for a trip down memory lane.
My very first session was with the Yarrington family in June 2009. A sweet and eager family that I met at my children's preschool. I offered several free sessions over the course of the summer to build my portfolio.
The Yarrington's were still just a family of four, with two little firecrackers, Ellie and Miles. Our session took place at the ever popular Texas Women's University campus on a hot summer day.
We spent a good hour together running around, or rather me chasing the children from one rock or another to mud to stairs......I'm out of breath just thinking about it.

This was a favorite part and I'm so thankful for an easy going Mommy to allow such a mess!

Even with all the technical errors (and boy are there plenty) I'm so glad I saved these images so I can see just how far I've come! We all have to start somewhere, right?
